Do you struggle to set clear boundaries? Ever find yourself saying “Yes” out loud, and screaming “NO!” on the inside?
As a leader, we all can struggle (sometimes more than not), with knowing when to say “Yes”, when to say “No”, or even when to say “Maybe later”.
Why is it that we struggle?
Well, my search for answers led me to thinking about how toddlers say no with wild abandonment…and this led me to three solutions for leaders looking to find clarity and focus in their work:
- Say no more often
- Say no to more people
- Say no despite your fears
In this recording, I dive into these solutions and the complexities behind the very simple word of “no.” In particular, I explore how who we say no to, when we say no, and our feelings about the word, often keep us from saying, “No,” even when we should.
